Straight-Line Tracking
During programming, many types of rating questions can be set up with our own style of straight line tracking. This results in a variable in the survey data that gets set to a number from 0 to 100 for each respondent, for each rating question.
The straight line score is the percentage of times (0-100%) each attribute rated was given the same rating as, or one-off from, the attribute rated just before it. Randomized attribute order is taken into account.
